PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the front fork of a motorcycle capable of preventing the damage to sealing member situated between the upper part of a partition wall member and a member on the outer tube side during a work to replace a suspension spring. SOLUTION: A partition wall member 200 is provided to partition an inner upper air chamber C of an outer tube 1 on the car body side and an inner tube 2 on the axle side into inner and outer air chambers C1 and C2, and the upper end part of a suspension spring 40 is supported by the partition member 200. In a so formed inverted front fork 10 of a motorcycle, the partition wall member 200 is divided into an upper partition wall member 201 locked at a member 32 on the outer tube side through a seal member 34 through a seal member 34 and a lower partition wall member 202 making contact with the upper partition wall member 201 through a seal surface 76e (80b) and causing the outer periphery of a lower end part to make slide contact with the outer periphery of the inner tube 2 through a piston part 80a.
