摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device capable of easily changing gear without generating gear shift shock in the automatic transmission for a vehicle having a form of changing gear between a first gear shift stage for engaging a first friction engaging device related to power transmission with a second friction engaging device regardless of the power transmission, and a second gear shift stage for releasing the first friction engaging device and the second friction engaging device. SOLUTION: In a plurality of hydraulic friction engaging devices on the release side, a gear shift control means 74 (SA7 and SB7) releases a brake B1 or a clutch C3 (the second friction engaging device) regardless of the power transmission and then releases a brake B2 or a clutch C1 related to the power transmission. Thus, release control of the brake B2 or the clutch C1 is facilitated, and gear shift is allowed without generating gear shift shock.</p>
