PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problem that the optimum control of strobe light with respect to a main subject is disabled in the case where a photographer changes the photographing composition of a camera after a light control sensor area is automatically decided. SOLUTION: In the case where a change of plural defocusing signals corresponding to plural focus detecting areas obtained by a focus detecting means exceeds a prescribed range after a light control sensor is selected by a light control sensor selecting means, the light control sensor selection is performed by the light control selecting means again. |
