PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a terminal, capable of preventing occurrence electrical discontinuity resulting from changes in the position of contact, even if applying an external force causing minute sliding movement. SOLUTION: A recess groove 22, having a semicircular cross-sectional shape, is formed to extend in a straight line from the front end to the rear end thereof at the center position of the width of the lower surface of a tab part 21 projecting from a male terminal 2. A semispherical protruding part 32 capable of being fitted into the recess groove 22 is provided, to protrude from the apex position of a spring contact part 32 disposed within the fitting part 31 of a female terminal 3. The radius of curvature of the protruding part is set to be about equal to the radius of curvature of the recess groove. when the protruding part is fitted into the recess groove, relative movement between the tab part and the spring contact part is permitted in the direction of insertion of the tab part, so that their relative displacement in the width direction of the groove is prevented.
