PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the conventional lens barrel and photographing device that a space, through which the guide bar sleeve part of a movable lens-holding member is passed, is made at the inside of a lens barrel in the case that a light quantity adjusting mechanism and an ND-moving back-and fourth mechanism are utilized. SOLUTION: In the lens barrel, in which the light quantity adjusting mechanism 8 and the ND-moving back-and-forth mechanism 9 for moving an ND filter 9c back and forth from/to an optical path are utilized, fixed and arranged at the inside of lens barrel bodies 1, 3 and 7 and the movable lens-holding member 2 movable in an optical axis direction is housed at the inside of the lens barrel body, the driving source 9a of the ND-moving back-and-forth mechanism and the sleeve part 2a formed at the movable lens holding member are arranged on opposite sides to each other, while pinching an optical axis O, as seen in the optical axis direction.
