PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical, cable capable of constituting an optical/DV wire composite cable which has the required tensile strength, in particular and is superior in productivity, relating to the optical cable to be used by being integrated with DV wires (insulated polyvinyl chloride wires for leading-in) and the composite cable, formed by assembling this optical cable and the DV wires. SOLUTION: The optical cable 1 is constituted, by arranging coated optical fibers 12 and at least one FRP tension member 14 inside a sheath 10. Tension fibers 16 are disposed further additionally within the sheath 10.
