PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable absorption of excessive torque without transmission of the torque by sliding it over a clutch part during action of excessive torque, in a one-way clutch. SOLUTION: The one-way clutch 4 is interposed in an opposite annular space between a drive annulus body 2 and a driven annulus body 3 concentrically disposed radially internally and externally and switched to a lock state that the driven annulus body 3 is rotated synchronously with the drive annulus body 2 according to a rotation speed difference between the two annulus bodies 2 and 3 and a free state that the two annulus bodies are caused to effect relative rotation. A wedge member 13 is interposed between the two annulus bodies 2 and 3 and when rotation torque inputted from the drive annulus body 2 exceeds a given value, the wedge member 23 slides between the two annulus bodies 2 and 3 and are brought into a state that transmission of a power to the driven annulus body 3 is shut off. This constitution enables regulation of the upper limit value of rotation torque to transmit a power. |
