PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the influence of an assembling error over the position of a load loaded on a head slider, and to secure the floating stability of the head slider. SOLUTION: The head suspension assembly consists of a suspension assembly which is placed along the longitudinal axial direction, has rigidity in at least a portion, and functions as a load beam, a gimbals assembly placed at the tip part of the suspension assembly and the head slider mounted in the gimbals assembly. The head slider has a first surface placed at a face opposite to the suspension assembly and is composed of a pivot part which projects from the first surface and comes into contact with the suspension assembly.
