PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the possibility that a child lock function fails to work and a cooking appliance is driven in an undesired state when a child plays therewith, for instance, on the occasion when the function of a control means is reset and consequently the child lock function is also reset when a power source of the control means once turned off is then turned on. SOLUTION: An operational means conducts operations of an instruction on operation and an instruction on setting for a control circuit that controls the operation of a heating means. On the occasion when the operation of this means is made unallowable by an operation locking means, the operation of the heating means is continued also when the power source of the control circuit is restored after it is cut off by an auto power-off means.
