PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve surface soil collecting workability by facilitating the mechanical collection of latent surface soil even on a slope with existing trees, to easily realize a greening method using the latent surface soil as a vegetation base material and to make effective use of resources and sediment produced at a construction site to cope with demands of recent years. SOLUTION: A suction nozzle 4 is provided at the tip of a material hose connected to a suction machine 1, and the suction nozzle 4 is additionally provided with a surface soil loosening means such as an air jet device.
