PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve utilization efficiency of light in a light source device which transforms light irradiated from a light-emitting diode placed at each side of a linear light guide body into a linear light source and then to a lane light source. SOLUTION: Wedge-shaped linear light guide bodies 14A, 14B are arranged in a state to be laid on top of each other symmetrically in two dimensions, at in Figure 2, at the side of a light-incident face 16 of a sheet light guide body 15. Light-emitting diodes 12, 13 are arranged at the side of light-incident faces 19A, 19B consisting of a wide end face opposite to each linear light guide body 14A, 14B. With this, the volume of light leaking from the other narrow end face opposite to the light-incident face 19A, 19B of each linear light guide body 14A, 14B is lessened. |
