PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method in which the excellent image quality is obtained and durability of a photoreceptor is excellent, and to provide a device therefor. SOLUTION: In this image forming method for obtaining the visual image by charging the photoreceptor including an organic photoconductive compound in a charging process, forming the electrostatic latent image on the above photoreceptor by digital exposure, developing the above electrostatic latent image in the developing process applying developing bias, the above photoreceptor is provided with a surface protecting layer,and a light source of the above digital exposure has a wave length longer than the wave length of short wave side at the 1/2 maximum spectropic sensitivity value of the above photoreceptor and shorten than the wave length 700 nm. |
