PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a check valve capable of completely preventing back flow with less noise and favorable durability, and to provide a usage of the check valve capable of predicting functional imparment tendency of the check valve, that is, detection of backflow. SOLUTION: A valve chamber 6 is defined by a valve body 3 provided with a fluid inlet 2 and a cover member 5 provided with a fluid outlet 4, and a valve element 7 freely movable in a fluid flowing direction is provided therein. The valve element 7 comprises an elastic member and a non-elastic member superposed with each other.
