PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a fault in production due to long time required for fixing a horizontal deflection coil to a separator by hot melting and covering a winding start side lead wire with an insulating tape. SOLUTION: This deflection yoke is provided with a horizontal deflection coil 16 wound in saddle shape, a separator 18 of almost horn shape with the horizontal deflection coil 16 built inside, and an insulating coil fixing member 21 mounted to the outer periphery on the large diameter opening side of the separator 18 and having a pair of tongue pieces 23, 24 arranged to hold a crossover part 16A of the horizontal deflection coil 16 from both sides in the yoke center axis direction (Z-axis direction). The tip face of the crossover part 16A of the horizontal deflection coil 16 is held down by one tongue piece 23, and a winding start side leader line 16B of the horizontal deflection coil 16 is led out of the outside of the other tongue piece 24.
