PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weatherproof equipment installed in a veranda, etc., capable of sufficiently blocking out wind and rain, being stored without spoiling or deteriorating beauty in the case of disuse, and being adequately folded for storage in order not to block out daylight when the equipment is provided with a movable roof. SOLUTION: The weatherproof equipment is composed of four columns 2a-2d or more disposed in a quadrangular manner, beams 3b and 3c for fixing at least the upper, intermediate, and lower parts of the columns 2a-2d, a plurality of vertical bars 4 for a fence, two roof rails 6a and 6b or more installed on the columns 2a-2d or the beams 3b and 3c, a foldable roof 5a capable of being moved along the roof rails 6a and 6b, a roof housing box 7 installed on the one-end side of the roof rails 6a and 6b to house the roof 5a, U-shaped curtain rails, whose sections on the side of a building are cut and which are installed at least at two places in the upper and lower parts inside the columns 2a-2d, a curtain 7 engaged with the above curtain rail and fitted with many movable sliders, and a curtain housing box 11 installed on the one-end side of the curtain rail to house the curtain 7.
