PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-advancing type soil improvement machine, which can be carried directly into a construction work field and which prevents a danger by improving its stability. SOLUTION: A hopper, into which soil is charged, is projected largely on one side in the longitudinal direction of a lower structure while outrigger devices are installed at the fixed positions of a main-body frame, the lower structure for the self-advancing type soil improvement machine is formed in a belt type, the outrigger devices are mounted to either one of the longitudinal direction of the lower structure, the outrigger devices are secured before and behind the lower structure, the outrigger devices can be expanded and contracted in the vertical direction by a hydraulic cylinder, the outrigger devices are formed in supports fixed onto the main-body frame, the outrigger devices are formed in supports rotatably attached to the main-body frame, pontoons for reducing contact pressure are set up to the outrigger devices, the pontoons are formed in wheel type and the pontoons are formed in the belt type.
