PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject stand-up collar capable of improving the visibility, when used for a closed collar jacket, of a walker or a rider on a bicycle who is wearing the jacket on emission from headlights of e.g. cars in the evening or at night, having sufficient scratch resistance, and excellent in compatibility with the color tone of the body of e.g. the closed collar jacket, and especially, when used for a student's wear, useful to prevent young school boys and girls such as elementary school children, pupils, and students from traffic accidents. SOLUTION: This stand-up collar having retroreflectivity is to be used through being attached to the body of a closed collar jacket with a margin 4, and characterized by comprising a flexible padding 1 of a horizontally elongated trapezoidal plate-like shape, capable of forming a cyclinc structure through bringing the ends thereof into contact with each other, a sheet 2 with retroreflectivity of a given shape set up on one side of the padding 1, and a netty body 3 covering over the surface of the sheet 2 and the exposed surface of the padding 1 and having translucency and color tone identical or compatible with that of the body of the closed collar jacket.
