PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector equipped with a latch arm, which is easy to manufacture and causing little risk of abrasion on an object to be connected. SOLUTION: A contact 1 to be brought into contact with the object to be connected is held by a housing 2, and a small base 11 is brought into contact with the contact, by holding it engagedly with a latch arm 3 combined with the housing. The latch arm has a holing part 4 held fixedly by the housing, an engagement part 5 to be engaged with the small base, and an elastically deforming part 6 positioned between the holding part and the engagement part, while being elastically deformable. In this latch arm, the holding part and elastically deforming part are made of metal and the engagement part is made of resin.
