PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compactly made catalytic combustion type gas cleaner having a high efficiency for removing toxic substances in a gas that contains the toxic substances. SOLUTION: The catalytic combustion type gas cleaner has such a construction that a gas containing toxic substances is directed to a catalyzer 4 capable of heating and subjected to heating and deodorization therein, and that the exhaust heat of such a treated gas is used for preheating the gas containing the toxic substances. Gas lines 6a, 6b are connected to both sides of the catalyzer 4 through heat reservoirs 5a, 5b, respectively. The gas lines 6a, 6b at the both sides are connected to a gas supply line 8 and a treated gas line 9 through a switching means 7. |
