PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the yield of plate taking in the fabrication of a terminal body by bending a sheet of metal plate and improve the bending rigidity of the fabricated terminal body. SOLUTION: The battery terminal 100 comprises a terminal body 50 having a post fitting portion 51 and a stud bolt mounting seat 53, on which an operation lever 60 is installed. In constructing the terminal body 50 as a bent fabrication of a sheet of metal plate of a belt shape, the post fitting portion 51 is formed by bending a sheet of belt shape metal plate in U shape in the thickness direction, and the both ends of the metal plate bent in U shape are used as two side plates 52 for supporting the operating lever 60. And the rectangular members 55a, 55b which are provided by extension in nearly right angles at the side edge of the extended portion of the above both side plates are bent inwardly respectively and are combined mutually so as to form a stud bolt 80 mounting seat 53. A penetrating hole 56 of the stud bolt 80 for connecting an LA terminal 20 is formed at the mounting seat.
