PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-NOx burner which is constituted to reduce the lengths of flames and further, to suppress the emission of NOx. SOLUTION: At the center of a heat chamber 1, an atomizer holder 2 provided with a fuel atomizer 3 at its front end and an auxiliary air chamber 5 having an auxiliary air hole 5a through which part of combustion air B flowing through the combustion chamber 1 is taken in the chamber 5 are provided, with the chamber 5 being positioned to surround the holder 2. Moreover, a radial flow swirler 4 is provided at the front end position of the auxiliary air chamber 5 between the combustion chamber 1 and atomizer holder 2.
