PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily, safely, and positively carry out opening operation of an openable tatami mat which closes an entrance of a building, the entrance being formed in a floor body partitioning a space into an underfloor space and an above-floor space, and being opened/closed by operating the openable floor so that a human being can descend to the underfloor space through the entrance. SOLUTION: There is provided an upward thrusting apparatus Up under the openable tatami mat Ta in a manner being enclosed by an enclosing frame for the entrance 2, and by activating the apparatus Up, an opening side of the openable tatami mat Ta is slightly lifted. Then, an edge of the openable tatami mat Ta is gripped with human hands, whereby the openable tatami mat Ta is opened. In addition, the upward thrusting apparatus Up is not protruded from the entrance 2, and therefore it is safe.
