PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the reliability by enabling a power unit to detect the abnormality of a DC-DC converter which supplies power to the controller of the uninterruptible power unit. SOLUTION: Providing a power unit with a relay 12 for monitoring the output of a DC-DC converter 1 and introducing the series circuit of its normal close contact (break contact) (r) and the auxiliary contact (b) of a disconnector 3 into a controller 13 will enable the user to judge that the DC-DC converter is faulty, because the contact (b) opens and the output from the above series circuit is lost also, when the output of the DC-DC converter 11 is lost. |
