PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously, concurrently and efficiently carry out dyeing when materials to be dyed or dyes are different. SOLUTION: A heating medium is housed in a plurality of hot baths 2a to 2e arranged so as to be mutually adjacent and the temperatures of the heating medium is stepwise varied for each of the hot baths 2a to 2e to rotate each dyeing vessel 17 housing the dye and material to be dyed while transferring the dyeing vessel 17 to each of the hot baths 2a to 2e and bringing the dyeing vessel 17 into contact with the heating medium in each of the hot baths 2a to 2e at a temperature for a time in which the dyed state of the material to be dyed becomes the optimum.
