PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for under ground base isolating construction which is executed by constructing a base isolation layer for foundation base isolation and intermediate base isolation at a basement of an existing building. SOLUTION: Earth retaining walls are constructed under the ground at a position which a fixed base isolation clearance is secured between the underground skeleton of the existing building and the ground, and the ground surrounded by the earth retaining walls is excavated, and a retaining wall is constructed inside the earth retaining walls exposed due to the excavation, and the underground skeleton and the retaining wall are connected to each other by a joint material. After completing the excavation to the bottom of the pressure-proof plate, a floor is made, and then, the lower section of a retaining wall and a pressure-proof plate are constructed inside the exposed earth retaining wall and the excavated bottom face for completing the base isolation layer, and a base isolation device is installed on the base isolation layer for supporting the underground skeleton.
