PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize an electronic display inspecting device which can accurately detect an inspection area, easily detect a linear defect, and easily correct the tilt of an electronic display display surface even if the electronic display has the linear defect. SOLUTION: When an image of the display surface of the electronic display is picked up and a defect that a display pixel of the electronic display has is inspected according to the obtained image signal, a specific image frame of high-luminance level is displayed on the electronic display and picked up, longitudinal and lateral pixel levels of the obtained image signal are integrated respectively, and coordinate positions where maximum luminance levels are obtained in the vertical and horizontal direction of the image signal are detected from the obtained integration signals; and an inspection area of the electronic display is determined according to the coordinate positions and inspected, so the image pickup angle of the electronic display display surface is so adjusted that the respective maximum luminance levels become the highest. |
