PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image display device which improves the operability of an observer. SOLUTION: Stack images 11A to 11C are generated from tomographic images 11 to in including a volume image, a viewpoint (e) is set at an arbitrary position for the stack images, and the tomographic images 11 to in are projected on a projection surface P from the viewpoint (e) to constitute a perspective converted image; and the passing points of a projection line L from the viewpoint (e) to the projection surface P are classified by the pixel values of the perspective-converted image and stored in pixel value mark bit memories MC1 to MCn by the classified pixel values, weighting information by the stored pixel values and addition information are set, and weighting processing among the pixel values is performed according to the weighting information. The weighted pixel values are added according to the addition information, a perspective-converted image which is shaded is generated from the added pixel values, and an extraction object position of the perspective-converted image is set. Then the object position, interval information between the tomographic images, and parameters of the weighting processing are related and stored and the weighting processing is performed with the parameters. |
