A mobile phone terminal (TE) comprises an additional smart card (CA) reader (LE). A terminal identity card or SIM manages communications with the terminal for any application implemented in the additional card. The SIM card filters the incoming data units (UE) produced by the terminal addressed to the additional card (CA) in accordance with a first set of rules of predetermined filtering, and filters outgoing data units (US) produced by the additional card addressed to the terminal in accordance with a second set of rules. The rules limit actions in the additional card. An Independent claim is also included for a SIM card equipped with additional smart card reader.
