PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier for an electrophotogrphic developer which is free from spent even for long-term use and which does not cause the surface staining on a photoreceptor. SOLUTION: In the carrier for an electrophotographic developer coated with a resin containing carbon blacks, the coating layer contains different kinds of carbon black with >=2 of difference in pH.
