PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the flexural strength. SOLUTION: The post fitting portion 51 of a battery terminal main body 50 is formed by bending a sheet of belt form metal plate in U shape in the thickness direction and both ends of the metal plate bent in U shaped are used as two side plates 52. Then, an operating lever 60 is inserted between the two side plates 52 and the two side plates 52 support a rotating shaft 70 of the operating lever 60. The distance X between the two side plates 52 which support the operating lever 60 is set to be same as the diameter D of the post fitting portion 51.
