ELECTRONIC PROGRAM GUIDE DATA-PROCESSING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic program guide data-processing method by which a user can quickly and surely select desired programs. SOLUTION: An IRD 4 receives EPG data of a program received via a satellite and a TV receiver 5 receives EPG data of a program, transmitted by means of a ground wave respectively and an EPG receiver 6 converts them into EPG data into a unified format. Then the unified EPG data are outputted to the TV receiver 5, where the EPG data are displayed.
