ELECTRIC CARPET AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric carpet which is foldable and of which the folded parts are hardly left as indentations. SOLUTION: The electric carpet has an elastic rear material 1, a heating body 2 provided on the rear material 1 and a surface material 3 provided on the heating body 2. The surface material 3 is formed by having a resin layer 4 that is elastic in directions of the thickness and the surface and also has restoration properties in both of these directions. Even when tensile and compressive forces in the direction of the surface are applied to the surface material 3 locally on the occasion of the electric carpet being folded, the surface material 3 is restored to the original state when it is unfolded.
