PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is not only troublesome to set fixed magnification in the case of using a zoom key for changing magnification in every decided unit but also very troublesome to set the magnification in the case of setting the magnification near the fixed magnification. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a zoom-up key (103) and a zoom- down key (104) for setting the magnification to the specified one by changing the magnification in every decided unit, for example, in the unit of 1%. Either key is operated to zoom up or zoom down the set magnification, and such a situation is displayed on an LCD 102 being a display part. When the magnification is near to one fixed magnification in the course of the increase or the decrease of change in the setting of the magnification, a sub message obtained by optimally combining original size and paper size processed at the fixed magnification is displayed together with the set magnification. By referring to the display of the sub message and the set magnification, the target magnification is set by operating the key (103) or (104). |
