PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive camera shutter where a chip type photocoupler and a flexible printed wiring board are mounted on a shutter base plate without soldering them. SOLUTION: The rectangular parallelopiped chip type photocoupler 7 is provided with a light emitting surface 7a and a light receiving surface 7b on the same plane and is further provided with four L-shaped electrode parts 7c extending over two other planes. As for the flexible printed wiring board 8, two belt-shaped parts 8a are formed so that the leading end parts face each other, and two electrode parts are respectively arranged at the leading end parts. As for the shutter base plate 1, a sensor storing chamber 1g is formed so that the insertion port may be positioned on a blade chamber side. The chip type photocoupler 7 and the flexible printed wiring board 8 are mounted on the shutter base plate 1 by making two belt parts 8a nearly equaly face the insertion port of the sensor storing chamber 1g, and then, press-inserting the chip type photocoupler 7 into the sensor storing chamber 1g by vending the two belt-shaped part 8a.
