FALSE-TWIST COVERED ELASTIC YARN

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a false-twist covered elastic yarn having decreased total denier of the false-twist polyamide multifilament yarn of the sheath part without causing defective covering and useful for producing a knit fabric having high soft feeling and soft fittability. SOLUTION: The false-twist covered elastic yarn Y is produced by covering the circumference of a polyurethane elastic yarn 1 having a fineness of 3.75-15 dtex with a false-twist polyamide multifilament yarn 2 having a single fiber fineness of <=1.7 dtex, a total fineness of 15-55 dtex and a filament number of 10-40 under twisting and reversing in essentially non-twist state while preventing the intrusion of the sheath yarn into the core yarn and the fusion of both yarns.
