PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, a method and a recording medium for communication for providing communication through a keyword for retrieval in the case of retrieving a database. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a retrieval engine for retrieving the database on the basis of the inputted keyword, a memory for keyword for storing the used keyword by storing the inputted keyword when this keyword is new, a memory for comment for receiving a comment concerning the keyword and storing the relevant comment in relation to the keyword, and a comment extracting part for extracting and outputting the comment related to the keyword from the memory for comment, and when the keyword stored in the memory for keyword is inputted, the comment extracting part extracts and outputs the comment concerning the inputted keyword from the memory for comment. The user of the database can provide not only the retrieved result but also information on whether the relevant keyword is used by the other user or not and whether the relevant keyword is suitable or not when the other user uses the keyword.
