PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of an uncontrollable state by stably operating a bias point stabilized feedback loop in a method for generating multiplier waves employing an optical interferometer type modulator. SOLUTION: In order to avoid fluctuation in a bias vs. average output power curve due to modulation amplitude fluctuation, the loop is made operable within the modulation amplitude range in which the bias control loop stably operates. |
