PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device that attains focus adjustment with high accuracy for attaining high image quality. SOLUTION: The imaging device is provided with a focus adjustment means, that adjusts the focal state of an image-forming optical system, an object information detection means (#5) that detects object information at least either of an object color and a spatial frequency, and a focal point adjustment amount calculating means (#6) that calculates a focus adjustment quantity for adjusting the image-forming optical system into an optimum focal state, on the basis of information relating to a distance up to an object and the object information, and the focus adjustment amount calculated by the focal point adjustment amount calculating means drives the focus adjustment means for adjusting the focus (#7). |
