PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized camera that varies an imaging range of the camera, while fixing the camera. SOLUTION: The imaging device is provided with a semiconductor image pickup element 5, lenses 8, 9 that are placed in front of the semiconductor image pickup element 5 to cause the image of a light to form on the front face of the semiconductor image pickup element 5, and a prism 12 that is placed in front of the lenses 8, 9 to cause the light to refract nonlinearly. The imaging range can be changed by replacing the prism with a prism with a difference thickness of the bottom side.
