The cooling spindles are in an asymmetric array. Four or more spindles are used, where each of three spindles are structured to carry substrate disks of a given diameter. A group of three spindles carry disks of one diameter, and a second group of three spindles carry disks of a different and smaller diameter. The outer spindles are from the first group with a spindle of the second group, seen in the peripheral direction. The spindles to carry the larger disks are located at the corners of an upright triangle, with a further spindle over a corner, so that the additional spindle of the first group forms a second group with the cooling spindles for the smaller disks. The first group of spindles carry disks with a diameter of 120 mm and the second group of spindles is for cooling disks with a diameter of 80 mm.
