<p>A multimedia device (Fig. 1) having control and routing (Fig. 2, 'switches 18 and 16') of multimedia content through its interconnection, wherein the device (Figs. 1-2), enables viewing and listening, multimedia searching and fetching, while simultaneously recording other content, through a single user interface (Fig. 1). The device comprises various embodiments one with VTR/VCR/tape and DVD decks in one single housing, suitable sources include analog or digital systems, hard disk drives, optical, solid state memory, and other removable or fixed media, wherein any number of decks may be included into the housing of the multimedia device of (Fig. 1).</p> |
