A degassing device for injection molding, wherein a cut-out part is formed by projecting a projecting pin beyond a specified dimensional difference between a pin hole and the projecting pin so that the tip part thereof facing a cavity becomes wide and narrower toward the rear end part thereof and cutting out the peripheral edge of the projecting pin aslant at one or more positions, the narrowed portion of the cut-out part being opened to a gas vent groove provided at the rear end part of the projecting pin and, when degassing is performed in a material route, a cylindrical, prismatic, conical, or truncated plug is inserted into a plug chamber opening to the material route (runner), and the cut-out part and gas vent groove are provided in the outer peripheral surface of the plug through a narrow part provided therebetween so as to decompress and exhaust the gas from the material route (runner).
