The invention is directed to a collapsible and portable cart (Figure 1). The cart (10) comprises a selectively collapsible frame (22) for receiving a carry bag (70) when the frame is in an open, usable position, at least one handle (40) extending from the frame, a plurality of wheel assemblies (50) and a floor array (60) comprising a plurality of support bars (62) and a weight bearing assembly (80) located substantially centrally of the floor array. The weight bearing assembly of the floor array comprises a top plate member (82) and a plurality of downwardly extending support members (84), the support members being so situated as to create slots (86) therebetween for receipt therein of one end of one of the support bars. |
