Method for secure usage (RMI) of a service (SERV) by use of a blackboard (LF) in an ad-hoc network. On the blackboard are registered all the available services. When an unregistered service is detected by the blackboard a test (C) is undertaken (RMI) to see if the service is reliable. If so the service is registered on the blackboard. A discovery function (DF) is used to detect services for blackboard registering. An Independent claim is made for an arrangement for secure use of services on an ad-hoc network.
