The invention relates to a device for cross-flow filtration of liquids with a self-regulating transmembrane pressure. The device is characterised by an improved filtration performance and a long service life and consists of at least one overflow channel (2) for the liquid to be filtered (feed liquid) and at least one filtrate channel (1) which runs parallel to the overflow channel, for collecting a filtrate. The overflow channel and the filtrate channel (2, 1) are separated from each other by a flexible filtering means (5). The outlets for the concentrate (4) on the overflow channel (2) and for the filtrate (6) on the filtrate channel (1) are located adjacently to each other. According to the invention, the filtrate channel (1) has at least one barrier (7) which is located at a distance from the filtrate outlet (6), which is impermeable to the filtrate liquid and which therefore stops the flow of filtrate. The devices are used for the cross-flow filtration of liquids in the fields of pharmacology, medicine, cosmetics, chemistry, biotechnology, genetic technology, the protection of the environment and laboratory applications. |
