<p>A measuring instrument, wherein a nozzle drive unit (10) incorporating a bar code reader judges whether the loaded cartridge container is a special-purpose container in which a predetermined reagent is dispensed and to which a bar code is attached or a general-purpose container which is a cartridge container filled with a reagent manually, and a CPU (1) reads, if it is a special-purpose one, the measurement condition from a special-purpose reagent measurement condition storage unit (3a) according to the information included in the bar code, and reads, if a general-purpose one, the measurement condition of a measurement object item selected and inputted by the operator from a general-purpose reagent measurement condition storage unit (3b), thereby conducting a measurement.</p> |
