The water-tight shoe has a leather upper (1) and an inner lining, lying on the inside of the leather upper, which is made of a material which is impervious to water, but pervious to sweat vapor and which is sewn to the inside face of the upper along its bottom edge, with a water-tight material, e.g. a water-tight band, covering the sewn seam (3).
