SUBSTANCE: proposed fuel injection system for internal combustion engine has high-pressure fuel accumulator into which fuel is fed by high-pressure fuel pump. High-pressure fuel accumulator is made in form of hollow sphere consisting of two drop-forged hollow hemispheres welded to each other.
