<p>A method for realizing a series of processes with one client application so as to enable a publisher to produce an electronic book file and sell it to a client through a network. A publisher terminal (2), a client terminal (3), and an electronic publication service site (4) are interconnected through a network (5). A publisher produces an electronic book file having a copyright protection function by use of an electronic book producing/reading application (9), and uploads the book file to an electronic publication service site (4) by use of the application (9). The electronic publication service site executes registration/storage processes so as to sell the uploaded book file to a client. The client reads the content registered in a search/read information database (14) of the electronic publication service site (4) by use of the electronic book producing/reading application (9) and can obtain the purchased book file in the form of an electronic book or an ordinary book.</p> |
