The seed drill has feed disks (14) mounted in the feed unit (12) which has an adjustable bottom flap (20). A retarding wedge (40) is mounted on the lower third of the flap. The feed disk has teeth spaced at a distance which corresponds to that between the tip of each tooth and the wedge as the tooth passes it.
